  • "Driver" refers to the individual operating the vehicle to provide ride services.
  • "Services" refers to the taxi, ride-hailing, and transportation services provided by GurukulCabs.

3. User Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use GurukulCabs. By using our services, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
  • If you are booking a ride on behalf of another individual, you must have the authority to act on their behalf and ensure they comply with these Terms.

4. Booking and Use of Services

  • Booking a Ride: You can book a ride through our mobile app, website, or by calling our customer service. You are responsible for providing accurate details, including pick-up and drop-off locations.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your ride at any time before the driver arrives. However, cancellation fees may apply as per our cancellation policy.
  • Driver’s Arrival: You are expected to be available at the designated pick-up location when the driver arrives. Failure to be present within a reasonable time frame may result in the ride being canceled, and cancellation fees may apply.
  • No-Shows: If you are not available at the pick-up location within the specified time and fail to communicate with the driver, the booking will be treated as a no-show, and you may be charged accordingly.

5. Payment Terms

  • Fare Calculation: Fares are calculated based on the distance traveled, duration of the trip, and applicable surcharges, including peak hours, tolls, and other fees. Estimated fares are provided at the time of booking; however, the final fare may vary.
  • Payment Methods: GurukulCabs accepts multiple payment methods, including cash, credit/debit cards, and digital wallets. All payments must be made in full upon completion of the ride.
  • Receipts: A receipt will be provided via the mobile app or email upon successful payment. You are advised to retain this receipt for future reference.

6. User Conduct

  • Prohibited Activities: You agree not to engage in any illegal, harmful, or disruptive behavior while using GurukulCabs services. This includes, but is not limited to, harassment of drivers, damage to vehicles, and violation of traffic laws.
  • Respectful Behavior: Users are expected to treat drivers and other passengers with respect. Inappropriate behavior, including abusive language, physical altercations, or any form of misconduct, will not be tolerated.
  • Compliance: You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using our services, including wearing seat belts and adhering to safety instructions provided by the driver.

7. Driver Conduct and Responsibilities

  • Driver Screening: All GurukulCabs drivers undergo background checks, including verification of driving licenses and criminal records. While we strive to ensure safe rides, we do not guarantee the character or conduct of the drivers.
  • Professionalism: Drivers are expected to maintain a professional attitude, follow all traffic laws, and ensure the safety and comfort of passengers during the ride.
  • Driver Rights: Drivers have the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated, abusive, or pose a safety risk.

8. Liability and Disclaimers

  • Service Availability: GurukulCabs makes every effort to provide reliable and timely service; however, availability may vary based on demand, weather conditions, or other factors beyond our control. We do not guarantee that a cab will always be available at the requested time.
  • No Guarantees: While we aim to provide accurate information, we do not guarantee that the estimated fare, arrival time, or travel duration will always be exact due to variables like traffic conditions and route changes.
  • Limitations of Liability: GurukulCabs is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including delays, missed flights, or lost personal belongings.

9. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellation Fees: Cancellation fees may apply if you cancel a ride after the driver has been dispatched or has arrived at the pick-up location.
  • Refunds: Refunds will only be processed in cases where payment was made but services were not rendered due to GurukulCabs' fault. Refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of the incident.

10. Intellectual Property Rights

  • Ownership: All content, trademarks, and other intellectual property related to GurukulCabs are the exclusive property of GurukulCabs. You are not permitted to use, reproduce, or distribute any content from our website or app without our written permission.

11. Privacy Policy

Your use of GurukulCabs is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to the Terms and Conditions
